Use the sophisticated import routines to easily and quickly import your data (Contacts, Cases and Diaries) from existing or new sources.
We fully appreciate that transferring data accurately and without any form of data loss is of paramount importance to you. That is why we have created these easy to use yet comprehensive data import routines.
The import procedures eliminate costly mistakes too often encountered when re-keying legacy data. They also provide you with a cost effective way of importing tens, hundreds or even thousands of records.
You can transfer ALL of your data from your legacy systems, or just the items you really want.
fileye validates your data to ensure the highest data integrity. Reports are produced on screen (which can be printed) telling you every error and warning encountered during the validation procedure.
You can choose to import the records fileye is happy with, or correct any reported issues and try again. It really is that simple.

Data Import (continued)
The imported data is stored in a quarantine area of fileye until you decide to import it. While it is in the quarantine area, it does not feature in the main fileye system, but you do have all of the fileye functionality available to you at this time.
This unique feature allows you to actually see how your data will manifest before it even features in fileye.
You can modify the data held in the quarantine area, remove specific records, search the data and produce reports and lists for further analysis.
Only when you give the go ahead will the data from the quarantine area be imported into the main system. Until that time, you are free to change it, view it and report on it.
There are three types of data import: Contacts (your names and addresses), Cases (your Intellectual Property records) and Diaries (the deadlines associated with your Cases).
There is a charge if you wish to use the import routines based upon the number of data rows you wish to import.
