 User Security
Each fileye user is assigned a unique user name, with a mandatory password.
Additionally, User Profiles allow you to configure multiple access roles and rights within fileye.
By taking advantage of User Profiles, it is possible to restrict or enable access to any area of fileye, and you can configure the profiles you require to suit your users abilities and permissions.
User Profiles can be applied to Standard Users, Client Access users and View Access users, giving you the control, flexibility and security you demand.
fileye is delivered with several pre-configured User Profiles, giving you Administrator, Creator, Maintain and View only profiles (which you can then modify and add to).
You could for example prevent a user from creating new records, but allow them to modify existing ones. You may also decide to only allow delete functionality to certain trusted users.
